This isn’t a formal article, just a quick thank you to my patreon patrons.
I’ve been blogging fairly actively and writing theory online since roughly 2014. Most of my work at the time was not particularly noteworthy, and was unrelated to the later interest I developed in communist and feminist theory. In 2015, I began to write much more frequently about feminism, communism, and anarchism. In June of that year I wrote my first major piece of theory, Gender Nihilism: An Anti Manifesto. If you are supporting my work or reading this at all, you know very well the extent to which my views have changed since then. What hasn’t changed is my commitment to continually thinking through and writing about theory in a public and accessible way.
I’ve had the good luck of getting to study theory in a formal context in both an undergraduate and graduate level. Not everyone has that chance, and I’m passionate about taking the tools that I have received from that study and using them to write accessible and interesting theory.
By supporting me on patreon, you have directly contributed to aiding me in the process of writing this theory, and being able to stay afloat financially. I can’t than you enough for what that means to me, but I hope that you know that you are playing an integral part in the process of producing and disseminating leftist theory and creative content.
I couldn’t do it without you.
